Maintain Notes

This page allows you to create standard textual information which can be attached to various transactions. The created notes can also be modified in this page.

Select the "Maintain Standard Notes ” activity

The "Maintain Standard notes" page appears.

Enter the following details

Standard Notes Id	The code identifying the standard notes. The system ensures that this field is not left blank.
	Press <Enter> key.
	The system retrieves the description for the entered standard notes id.
	Help facility available.
Description	The textual description of the Standard Notes ID. The system ensures that this field is not left blank.

Click the “Update Standard Notes” pushbutton to save the standard notes.

The system saves the standard notes Id along with the description and the notes details specified.

If the Standard Notes ID entered already exists the changes in the description are updated to the ID. Else the Standard Notes ID will be created and saved.

The system updates the login ID of the user to the created by and the system date to the created date if the standard notes Id is the new Id.

The system maintains the modification history if it has been already created.
