Mapping deployment role to OU and tasks

This page allows mapping the deployment role recently created to the organization unit and tasks belonging to a component / activity under the OU.

Click the hyperlinked image ‘’ in the “Task Privileges” field in the “Role Master” page.

The “Maintain Task Privileges” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Role Name	The name of the deployment role to which the tasks are to be mapped.
Role Description	The description of the deployment role.

OU Instance Name

Use the drop-down list box and select the name of the OU instance.

The system displays the following:

OU Instance ID	The identifier of the OU instance.
OU Instance Description	The name of the OU instance.
Address	The address of the OU instance.

Show Task

Use the drop-down list and select the following options to retrieve the task details in the multiline. The system lists the following values:

All - Select this option to retrieve all the tasks under the component in the multiline.
Mapped – Select this option to retrieve the tasks that are mapped to the OU instance and the deployment role.
Unmapped – Select this option to retrieve the tasks that are not mapped to the OU instance and the deployment role.

By default, the system displays “All”.

Component Name

The name of the component to which the task belongs.

The system displays the following:

Component Description

The description of the component.

Activity Name

The name of the activity under the component.

The system displays the following:

Activity Description

The description of the activity.

ILBO Name

The name of the ILBO under the activity, to which the task belongs.

The system displays the following:

ILBO Description

The description of the ILBO.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Task Name	The name of the task under the component / activity, to be mapped to the OU and the deployment role.
Task Description	The description of the task.
Task Type	The type of the task.

Map

Check this box to map the task under the component / activity to the OU and the deployment role.

Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the deployment role-OU-task mapping details.
