Mapping OU to user

This page allows mapping the user recently created, to the OU instance.
Click the hyperlinked ‘
’ in the “Map OU” field in the “User Creation” page.
The “Map OU To User” page appears.
The system displays the following:

User Name |
.The name of the user to be mapped to the OU instance. |
|
User Description |
The description of the user. |
|
Full Name |
The full name of the user. |
Enter the following search criteria:

Show |
Use the drop-down list and select the following options to retrieve the OU instance. The system lists the following values:
By default, the system displays “All”. |

OU Instance Name |
The name of the OU instance. |
|
OU Instance Description |
The description of the OU instance. |
Click the “Fetch” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in the multiline.
The system displays the following in the multiline:

OU Instance ID |
The identifier of the OU instance. |
|
Name |
The name of the OU instance to mapped to the user. |
|
Description |
The description of the OU instance. |
|
OU Address |
The address of the OU instance. |
Check the following box in the multiline:

Map |
Check this box to map the OU instance to the user. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the user-OU mapping details.
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Create Organization Unit Instance” link to create an OU instance.
