Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

Using online help

This page allows you to view the textual information related to customer. For the selected document number and the type of the transaction set, the system retrieves and displays the notes details in this page. You can also view the standard notes details in this page.

The "View Notes" page appears.

The system displays the following details in the header:

 

The number identifying the customer code.

Status

The status of the customer. It can be “Active” or “Draft”.

Notes Folder

Use drop-down list box to specify the notes folder. The system retrieves the values from the “Category” business component.

Notes For

Use the drop-down list box to select the option for which the notes related to it are to be specified. If the transaction type is set to “Customer”, then the system loads the following values in the drop-down list box. You can select from “Pricing”, “Sale Order” or “Quotation”. The system displays “Pricing” by default on launch of the page.

 
  • Pricing: indicates that pricing related instructions for the customer can be recorded.

 
  • Sale Order: indicates that sale order related instructions for the customer could be recorded.

 
  • Quotation: indicates that quotation related instructions for the customer could be recorded.

Note: The system retrieves and displays the corresponding notes details based on the value selected from the “Notes For” drop-down list box.

The system displays the following details in the “Notes Details” group box:

Standard Notes Id

The code identifying the standard notes.

Notes Title

The title of the standard notes.

The system displays the following detail:

Notes

Any textual Information pertaining to the customer.
