Help on ASN Number
This page allows you to search and select the ASN and transfer the details to the required field. You can search the ASN number by specifying search details. The system retrieves the search results in the multiline. You can select the ASN number from the multiline and click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer it to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “ASN No.” field.
The “Help on ASN Number” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Supplier Code |
The code identifying the supplier. |
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier. |
The system displays the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Company Code |
The code identifying the company. |
Company Name |
The name of the company. |

Select the relevant option from the drop-down :
Org. Unit Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the organization unit.The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
The system displays the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Org. Unit Name |
The name of the organisation unit corresponding to the organization code. |

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the ASN :
Ref Order No. |
The identification number of the reference order document. (Alphanumeric, 25). |
Item Code |
A unique code or identification number of the item (Alphanumeric, 32). |
Item Desc. |
The textual description of the item (Alphanumeric, 150). |
ASN From Date |
The date on which the ASN number has been created. (Date Format) Give a range of ASN Dates in the “ASN From Date” and “ASN To Date” fields. The ASN Date entered in the “ASN From Date” field should be lesser than or equal to the ASN Date entered in the “ASN To Date” field. If the “ASN From Date” field is left blank, the system fetches all the ASN Dates starting from the first ASN Date in the database till the ASN Date entered in the “ASN To Date” field. If the “ASN To Date” field is left blank, the system fetches all the ASN Dates starting from the ASN Date entered in the “ASN From Date” field till the last ASN Date in the database. If both the fields are left blank, the system fetches all the ASN Dates. |

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:
Org. Unit Name |
The name of the organization unit. |
ASN No. |
The number identifying the ASN. |
ASN Date |
The date on which the ASN was created. |
Ref Order No. |
The identification number of the reference order document. |
Item Code |
A unique code or identification number of the item. |
Item Desc. |
The textual description of the item. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the ASN number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
